coogle accepted

coogle, my tiny firefox extension, just got accepted. and that’s where i love the open source methodology: you have an idea, look into the existing code, build on it. and soon enough, you implement it, and then are able to share it.
the crazy thing is that coogle has already been downloaded 3000 times — there might be something wrong with the counters at mozilla, or there are a lot of bots out there ;-)

you need firefox 1.5 to install coogle

install rails
$ sudo apt-get rails

create your first rails apps
$ rails /complete/path/to/new/railsapp

start the server
$cd /complete/path/to/new/railsapp
$ruby script/server

browse to http://localhost:3000/
