kudos for the whole team at ubuntu. in my opinion the best linux disto i’ve tried so far: clean, nice and very easy to use. i can now enjoy the full power of linux, without the trouble of having to struggle to install the simpliest packages besides, it is based on the great debian disto. their wiki is very helpful, and i also found a good starter guide.
